A common question people have when making an an injury claim following a car accident is how long do you have to make a car accident compensation claim. Ideally you will need to make the claim for your injuries as soon as possible but in England and Wales if you are reporting a personal injury car accident claim for compensation where another car driver is at fault, then you will need to commence the claim at court within 3 years of the date of the car accident.
Contacting a reputable claims management company or specialist injury solicitor will help you in this regard. Ensure that you have as much information on the incident available before you submit a claim for personal injury as this will help get things started as soon as possible for any car crash compensation.
