no win no feeShould the advertising catch phrase advertising slogan “no win, no fee” for personal injury (PI) services be stopped? These advertising slogans are probably not quite what John Logie Baird had in mind when he first sent out live images.
The question has been hotly debated recently by senior people in the Ministry of Justice and government hierarchy and should be revealed soon when Lord Young of Graffham publicises his report into the so called “compensation culture”, but the aggressive marketing tactics used by solicitors and claims management companies surely not in itself sufficient to close those injured in accidents through no fault of their own another route to access to justice. Or indeed to end a lucrative source of revenue in for some of the businesses who are current struggling in the TV advertising industry?

What ever the out come it seems that more strict controls will eventually be in place under the argument that anyone can have fair Access to Justice via the internet and other routes without the “incitement” to make a claim that is portrayed in some advertising.
